HERE AT MITCHELL
Gary started at Mitchell Graphics in 1987. He spent eight and a half years managing the pressroom, HR, and production. After his next decade as the general manager, he became the president and CEO. Gary has served from more than a dozen years as president, and more than thirty years at Mitchell graphics.
Anne and her husband vacationed for many years in beautiful Northern Michigan and grew to love the area and all it had to offer. They decided to move north and Anne joined the Mitchell Graphics team in 1999 and continues to serve our customers with professionalism and a commitment to excellence.
She has years of experience in the print industry as well as an extensive customer service background. She lives in Harbor Springs with her husband, Karl, and Molly their Golden Retriever. She enjoys reading, gardening and the wonderful beaches in Northern Michigan.
Project Coordinator / Inside Sales & Graphic Design
Lindsey joined the team at Mitchell Graphics in July of 2017. She has a graphic design background graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Graphic Design & Creative Thinking from GVSU. Lindsey started her career at a newspaper company designing ads and providing customer service, but she got an opportunity in printing where she found her true niche. With over 12 years experience with design and printing services, she brings a lot to the table. At Mitchell Graphics, she has multiple job duties including meeting with client’s to find solutions for their design, printing and mailing needs, coordinating projects, and assisting with sales as well as design.
A Michigan native, born and raised in the UP, Lindsey is an avid outdoors woman into fishing, hiking, kayaking, camping and more. She also is very active with sports, playing volleyball league in the winter, beach volleyball in the summer and golf league in the spring through fall. She resides in Traverse City with her dog Norris.
Katelin came across the big beautiful pond that is Lake Michigan to join Mitchell Graphics in the summer of 2018. After graduating from Northern Michigan University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, she relocated to Michigan once again from her hometown of Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Growing up with a small family who loves getting out on the fresh water, she has known from a young age that she will always reside within a few short miles of a Great Lake.
Jayne Bronson Kellogg
Jayne has been working in the printing industry since 1977 and has seen dramatic changes since those pre-computer days. In the early days, typesetting alone was a full-time position. Today’s prepress has diversified to include layout, design, proofing, plating and digital print (very little typesetting). She loves the challenge that technology brings to the job.
Originally from the Kalamazoo area, Jayne moved to the Traverse City area in 2001 and now lives in Kingsley with her husband Vincent. They have two adult children, Paul and Emily. Emily and her husband Brian are expecting a baby girl in the spring. Vincent and Jayne are pretty excited about entering the world of “Grandpa and Grandma”!
Director of Finance & IT
Karl joined Mitchell Graphics in 2015. Karl attended Western Michigan University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree and MBA majoring in Finance and Management. After college, Karl started his career at Ford Motor Credit Company in their collections department and then in their commercial lending department for 13 years. He and his wife Anne would spend their vacations in Northern Michigan which led them to move up to the greatest place on earth in 1999. Karl found work at a printing company for the next 15 years which motivated him to combine his talents in Finance and knowledge of print at his current position at Mitchell Graphics.
National Account Manager
Jason started his career with Mitchell Graphics in June 2006, working mostly with national customers. He studied General Business at Graceland University in Iowa, as well as Grand Valley State University. Since that time, Jason has been involved in some area of sales. Before joining Mitchell Graphics, he served his community as an insurance agent for 7 years. At Mitchell, Jason partners with clients from coast to coast, helping them with their marketing and printing needs. Having customers from such a vast area is one of the things he enjoys most. Although his customer base is made up from many industries, Jason has taken the lead in working with colleges and universities across the country.
He resides in Boyne City with his wife and 4 children. Jason loves watching sports, hunting, camping and spending time at the beach with family.
Julie started with Mitchell Graphics in 2013. She has specialized in traditional and emerging marketing efforts for 16 years. After earning a bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Michigan in 2000 she became a journalist and editor, honing her copywriting, photography, and videography skills. As the news industry shifted she moved into online information and messaging working in website content creation and design, search engine optimization, social media, and mobile platforms. With Mitchell Graphics, Julie assists clients with brand building, message creation, marketing campaigns, and business development.
She is married and has four children. She loves to go to the beach, camp, read and spend time with friends and family.
Faith is one of our three Project Coordinators and has been a part of the Mitchell Graphics family for over six years. She comes from an extensive sales and customer service background and enjoys the variety of projects and customers that she works with on a daily basis here at Mitchell.
A Michigan native, she was born downstate but has called Northern Michigan “home” for most of her life. She enjoys the beauty of nature that surrounds us – from the beaches to the woods, to the sunsets. She has one daughter, who is currently a neuroscience major at Michigan State University. Faith lives in Petoskey with her boyfriend Jason and their dog, Monty.
Regional Account Manager
Jeff joined the Mitchell Graphics team over 32 years ago in June of 1986. He attended Grand Rapids Community College his freshman year and then transferred to Central Michigan University where he completed his course of study and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with majors in Marketing, Management and Economics along with a minor in Psychology in May of 1981. Between his college years, Jeff competed the Outboard Marine Corporation service school in Waukegan, Illinois to become a certified outboard engine mechanic. Upon completion of college in 1981, he married his high school sweetheart, Kari and they have been married for almost 38 years. They have two grown children: Dr. Matthew Streelman, DDS, MD (wife, Dr. Yvette Streelman, MD) and Kelli Brower PA (Streelman) and husband Kirt Brower. They have 5 grandchildren.
Prior to joining the MG team, Jeff spent 6 years working for East Jordan Iron Works (EJ) sales department. Jeff has been a Vice President and has served on the management team for over 15 years while maintaining his full-time sales duties. His sales grew from $300,000.00 to just under 2,000,000.00 annually during his time at MG. He has been slowing things down over the last 5 years or so and is looking forward to retiring in the not too distant future. Jeff and his wife also own and operate The Farley Calendar and Promo Products Co, (est 1972) in Boyne City, Michigan.
Jeff and his wife reside in Boyne City, MI and enjoy spending as much time as possible with their family and especially their grandchildren. They can be found boating the Great Lakes in the summer and on the ski slopes in the winter enjoying all the seasons that Northern Michigan has to offer,
Emilie first came to Mitchell Graphics in 2013 after moving from the Chicago area to marry a native Michigander. She started out as a temporary occasional employee, working in plate-setting and the front office, and moved to a permanent part-time receptionist position the following year. She also assists in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
Emilie enjoys living in Northern Michigan 6 months of the year, but would hibernate through winter if possible! She likes cooking (and eating!), spending time with family and friends, and going to the beach with her husband.
Graphic Designer / Prepress Manager
Jessie joined the Mitchell Graphics family in 2010. She earned her Associates Degree in Visual Communication from Ferris State University in 2002. After college, she moved back to northern Michigan and started her graphic design career. Before joining the team at Mitchell Graphics, she worked at the Petoskey News-Review doing ad design & page layout for a variety of daily, weekly and monthly publications.
She is very busy with her husband and two daughters. When there is free time, she loves to go camping and to the beach with her family.
Regional Account Manager
Started at Mitchell Graphics in 2018, she has made the transition from a long career with Sysco Foods as a Marketing Associate. She specializes in brand recognition/development, emerging marketing trends, and creating new ways to for her customers to gain more market share in their industry. She graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelors of Business Administration with an emphasis in General Management. As well as she graduated from North Central Michigan College with an Associates Degree of General Studies.
Alexandra was born and raised in Northern Michigan, and currently lives in Indian River, Michigan. She enjoys the natural beauty of the area and the many outdoor activities it brings. She also is an equestrian, and horseback rides as much as she can. She and her long time boyfriend have 2 puppies (Daisy-May and Blue) and 3 cats (Zoey, Tristan, and Elsa) always anxiously awaiting their arrival home.
Jen started her journey with Mitchell Graphics in the spring of 2014. She was brought in to run the inkjetter (the mailing machine) and be an assistant to the bindery team. She has since expanded her skills and processes the mailing lists, working closely with the USPS. She also has recently been putting her Business Administration degree to good use helping the accounting department with postage related accounts, merging many of her talents.
Jen lives with her husband and two furkids, Harley and Kimber, in Boyne Falls. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening as well as reading, sewing, and crafting.
Jennifer joined the Mitchell Graphics family in 2016. She attended Central Michigan University and after college moved back to her hometown of West Branch. In 2012, her husband accepted a job at Frito Lay that moved the family to Petoskey. Jennifer has worked as a Paraprofessional at Sheridan Elementary and substituted as a Health Care Aide throughout the Petoskey schools.
She is happily married, has three boys and a little Shih Tzu named Sully. Jennifer loves spending time with her family and friends whether it’s sitting around a campfire, playing cards or running the boys to all their activities.
Nick started at Mitchell Graphics in the summer of 2018 right after he completed his Bachelors of Fine Arts degree from Northern Michigan University with a concentration in Graphic Communication.
While Nick wasn’t riding his bike in the woods or skiing down the back hills of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula he learned the trades of photography and woodworking. Nick continues to enjoying biking, skiing and spending time outside with friends in the Petoskey area.
Regional Account Manager
Ashley joined the Mitchell Graphics family in June of 2018. She attended Grand Valley State University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Sport Management and Business in 2014. After college, she moved back to northern Michigan and started her career in Marketing and Advertising with the Bohning Company. Now, Ashley assists clients with brand building, message creation, and business development.
Ashley loves the outdoors so when she gets free time she enjoys traveling, camping, hiking, and kayaking.
Regional Account Manager
Ron joined the Mitchell Graphics team in 2002. He brought with him a strong sales background, starting with Northern Office Suppliers in 1992. In 1996 Ron moved to Richmond Virginia, working at Creative Office Environments as an account manager. He specialized in configuring exactly the right cubicle arrangements and furniture for his clients. Customer service has always been a priority for Ron, and he takes great satisfaction and pride in ensuring his clients are happy.
Ron is married and has two children. He loves coaching his kids and watching them play football, baseball, and basketball. In his free time, he enjoys spending time on the water and playing golf.
Walt started with Mitchell Graphics in 1975, after earning a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Ferris State University in 1974. He has been the estimator & job planner for most of that time, after a few years of learning the printing business. Walt estimates all jobs that flow through the plant & also purchases and maintains the paper inventory.
Walt is married and has two dogs. He loves to go to the beach & swim with his Labrador, downhill ski, and many other outdoor activities.
Franck joined the Mitchell Graphics family in May of 2014. His father was a professional Graphic Artist in the Detroit area which created a unique opportunity for Franck to grow up in the environment of printing and design. After living downstate for most of his life, Franck moved his family north to live and work in the beauty of Northern Michigan. He works in the PrePress department assisting with Digital Printing, Imposition & Plating, and Graphic Design.
Traverse City Operations Manager
The start of my printing career was right out of high school at age 18 initially for about 2 ½ years in Southfield, MI. I moved to Traverse City in 1979 and ran my own unrelated business for 6 years. I sold my interest to my business partner and went back into printing in 1986. I have been at this location for over 28 years, giving me 33 years’ (plus) experience in this industry. I have an Associate’s degree in Business Management from Northwestern MI College. My favorite pastimes are golfing, kayaking, hiking, exploring our National Parks, rock & mineral collecting and bringing laughter into people’s lives.
Craig worked in the field prior to Mitchell Graphics, giving him some real-world experience. He hired into work in the bindery department, and eventually went to prepress, the scheduling department and now is the Production Manager, giving him 30 years with us.
If he’s not working, he can usually be found hunting, fishing, or attending one of his 2 son’s sporting events. His wife owns her own nail salon.
